1 Star The sims series sucks but…
Sims suck….boaring and pointless. Sims 2 also sucks, however I bought it for my fiance and she installed it. This has been the third computer she has installed it on and it just keeps screwing up her other sims 2 packs aswell as Sims 2 itself. Just a poor buggy addon to a mind numbing, worthless, no fun game. Watching grass grow is more fun that this.

5 Stars Lots of fun
I love the sims and have collected all the packs, so of course, I wanted this one too. New interactions and places to live, and sims to interact with. It’s great.

5 Stars Sims 2 is clever, imaginative and addictive
I was looking for a game that would provide me with some escapism over the holidays and this fit the bill. I had played The Sims before so this was a reintroduction to the game. It is very clever and entertaining. I highly recommend it.

5 Stars Sims 2: Apartment Life
According to my daughters, ” The Sims 2: Apartment Life ” is absolutely fun. It’s easy for them to spend too much time playing. I have bought them most of the Sims 2 PC games. However their computer recently crashed and now I’m shopping for a new hard drive. But they rate ” The Sims 2: Apartment Life ” with all stars. Also, Amazon was very quick and efficient in delivering this product. I had no problems with my order and look forward to purchasing more products directly from Amazon. Thank you.

5 Stars I love playing the Sims 2~~
I recently received the final packs to my Sims 2 game series. I am very impressed with Apartment Life. The aspects having your sims live in such close quarters is fun. I have combined it with my other packs including the new Mansion and Garden stuff which is also a terrific add. I like to build and this gives you a lot of leeway. I have built my own apartments and they are very easy to create and then having the whole roommate aspect. That part is ok, but they are just like pets and you can’t get them eat a mean unless they do it automously. But all in all I love the aspects of these two additons. I recommend these as an enhancement to your Sims 2 gameplay.

5 Stars Omg I love this game!
Best expansion pack I have for the sims, I even think it is better than open for business. I suggest that if you are a sim lover you should get this game, because its just pure fun!

4 Stars This expansion is definitely worth it!
If you’re bored of The Sims 2 because it seems to shift in circles of the same routine, over and over again with the exception of a few changes (different families, different jobs, etc.) then Seasons is definitely for you. The seasons not only add many different climates but the weather actually changes! From snow, to rain to a blistering hot day your Sims will never be bored and will always be facing some surprising circumstances. You’re getting this review from the point of view of a 16 year old who’s played the Sims games since pretty much the dawn of time (I jest, but you know what I mean) and I’ll list you the pros and cons below.

Pros:

+ The seasons! That’s an obvious one, but instead of being stuck in a seemingly always green and summery world your Sims have the options to experience Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter!

+ The weather changes! Have you ever wished to see snow fall and wonder on your Sims’ faces at the first snow of the season? How about experience a random rain storm? Bright, hot, blistering weather good for splashing around in the pool? Well now your Sims can have all this!

+ Fun new activities include: snow angels, snowball fights, ice skating in the winter time, gardening/fishing in the summer and spring, harvesting your crops for meals and for special juices that cool down your Sims and fresh hot chocolate to warm them up after a cold day outside plus many many more cool features.

+ The ability to put your left over meals away, so nothing goes to waste and your Sim can have that delicious dish later!

+ You can set different clothes for different types of weather. You can have a special “outerwear” for the winter, and you can set certain hair styles for certain outfits (formal, outerwear, etc!) which is great when you don’t want to manually change your Sim’s hair for their wedding day or something!

Cons:

- Your Sims sometimes over heat easily, and this can lead to death. It’s not too hard a problem to resolve, however.

- As with overheating, they can get really cold especially if they don’t have the appropriate outerwear on too! This also results in death if left untreated for too long.

- I’ve heard of lightening striking Sims dead, etc, but haven’t encountered this yet so far so I think as long as your Sims are inside on a rainy day they’ll be sure to avoid this.

At any rate, these are the things that really stand out for me and the pros way outshine the cons as you can see for yourself! I’d definitely recommend this game and I’d give it a full 5 stars each way but like all Sims games it does get old and a little repetitive after a while or for a short period of time until you find yourself itching to play again. Still, it’s a fantastic and well done game!

4 Stars Thunder, lightning, snow, oh my
The main addition this expansion offers is well, seasons. Gameplay-wise, the new gardening aspect isn’t exactly too impressive, and the idea that your sims have a temperature meter is interesting in that you can monitor your sims’ health a bit easier. Ultimately, Seasons offer different looks to your neighborhood so you have a better sense of time as seasons come and go.

5 Stars Seasons for my Sims!!
I haven’t gotten to play Seasons much, but so far I like it. My favorite reaction so far is when the Sim gets cold & wants to go jump in the pool!

4 Stars Pretty great!
I waited forever for this game! I’m sorry to say it is a little slow on my computer but it’s worth it. The effects are great, in winter it snows, and your sim children sometimes get snowdays, and are allowed to stay home or catch up on homework. A great way to do this is to get the weather machine in the rewards objects and have your sim create a snow storm. Another cool object is the juicer. using the different produce your sims grow in their new green houses, you can make juices that give your sims skill points or boost their energy.

Hint: If you use the cheat “boolprop testingcheats enabled” you can right click or control click on your plants and make them grow full ripe produce in seconds, which incredibly helpful seeing that they take forever to develop fully.

The other season effects are also great, your sims can fish and stock their fridge in fall, summer and spring. also there’s a new game play where your sims can put the leftovers of their meals back into the fridge for another date. This is really nice for small families.

Be very careful of the weather effects! IN winter your sim’s can freeze in just minutes, be sure to watch their temperatures! In summer they can combust and just burst into flames, or they can be hit by lightning while in the pool or hot tub, during a rain shower.

Over all the game is great!
