5 Stars Fun Puzzle Game
Very cool puzzle game!

I bought this game for my wife for Christmas I ended up playing it just as much as her. You basically need to build these structures that the little oil blobs crawl across. Your structure needs to deliver the little blobs to a final destination. Sounds simple right? Well, as the game progresses they start releasing different kind of blobs that react differently based on the obstacles, etc. It ends up getting pretty challenging.

It reminds me of the old lemmings game which was also tons of fun.

The graphics are pretty good, and the game has a unique look to it.

Music isn’t bad or annoying either.

Nice change of pace from the standard shoot em’ up game. I would recommend this for any gamer.

5 Stars Great Game… worth the money…
The game is worth the money. Fun, and works on a MAC or PC. Great way to pass the time on a plane ride…

5 Stars An underlooked gem of a game!
I got this game from Amazon for 9.99 through a lightning deal. My wife loves puzzle games and I thought it would be a great early Valentine’s Day gift.

The game has more than 40 levels and is very easy to learn how to play. There is a good amount of creativity in solving the different levels. The levels are a combination of construction and physics, but in a fun way. The soundtrack is also nice, and the graphics are colorful and fit the mood of the game nicely.

This is also available on the Nintendo Wii, but I have not played that version.

P.S. My wife loves it!

2 Stars Great if you never downloaded the free Adobe Flash Player
Here’s a bit of a dissenting opinion on World of Goo. While the game certainly has some pretty visuals and music, the actual gameplay feels like I headed over to Kongregate and played one of the many physics-based Flash games there. You build constructs like bridges and towers in varying angles and degrees, get from point A to point B, then do it again.

Certainly the counter argument to this is that the level design transcends that simple play, but when the levels are put under the ruthless microscope of this weathered gamer and judged for their mechanics, I just didn’t see that materialize. The game quickly wore out its welcome just about halfway in (two hours or so worth of play), there’s just no meat to the core mechanics, and the game seemingly wants to coast you through by relying on it’s aesthetics and wannabe art house subversiveness.

Note that this game is a five-star game for a lot of gamers who will be drawn to the game due to the art direction and off-mainstream quirky swagger of the title. I personally just found it to be a boring, fairly banal puzzler that is more flash ( pun intended ) than actual gaming substance.

5 Stars SMART & FUN
Before you know it, you’ll be hooked on this game! It’s very well-done, smart, fun & non-violent!

The only reason I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 is because you could only create 3 player’s profile at a time which kinda sucks if you are more than 3 in the family.

World of Warcraft 60 Day Pre Paid Time Card

The World Of Warcraft 60 Day Time Card lets gamers enter the world of Azeroth for 60 days of real-time combat in an incredible fantasy setting.

5 Stars Good, easy gift for anyone who plays WoW
At Christmas, I got this same thing for five people who play Warcraft, and they all loved it. For four of them, I wrapped up the box it came in and gave it to them. The fifth lives out of town, so I simply emailed her the number off the back of the card, which is all she needed. It’s about the only good gift that can be emailed. :)

4 Stars Gift for Christmas
I was not aware that my son would need to purchase anything extra to use this card but it does not work with the downloaded version of the game so we had to spend an extra $80 in order to use the card! Obviously not a problem that had to do with Amazon at all but just thought I’d let other parents know before they purchase the card.

4 Stars Loved it
Purchased this for my 15 year old for christmas…he loves WOW and loved this gift

5 Stars Good service, but there are better options
I ordered a card from here once. I got it about 3 days later, which is okay, but I found out that you can go and order from places like [...] and have your code right then and there. So yeah buying from here is great an all, but there are better choices.

3 Stars Good, but wasteful
My wife and I use these to keep our playing habit under control. We have to make a conscious decision every 60 days to keep going, and we get to keep our credit card information to ourselves.

As others have mentioned, however, this is extraordinarily wasteful. They are overpackaged and the entire package and everything in it hits the landfill the second the code is entered.

Ideally Amazon could just show us the code on their site; they’re doing a lot of other digital delivery these days.

Hence three stars: five, minus two for the sickening inefficiency.

Many strange and terrifying creatures inhabit this frozen continent. View larger.

Enter the Death Knight
This expansion adds a host of content to the already massive existing game world. Players will achieve soaring levels of power, explore Northrend (the vast icy continent of the Lich King), and battle high-level heroes to determine the ultimate fate of Azeroth. As you face the dangers of the frigid, harsh north, prepare to master the dark necromantic powers of the Death Night — World of Warcraft’s first Hero class. No longer servants of the Lich King, the Death Knights begin their new calling as experienced, formidable adversaries. Each is heavily armed, armored, and in possession of a deadly arsenal of forbidden magic.

If you have a World of Warcraft account with a character of at least level 55, you will be able to create a new level-55 Death Knight of any race (if on a PvP realm, the Death Knight must be the same faction as your existing character). And upon entering the new world, your Death Knight will begin to quest to level 80, gaining potent new abilities and talents along the way. This expansion allows for only one Death Knight per realm, per account.

New Environments in Northrend Await
Journey through the remote, diverse lands of Northrend and explore Dragonblight, Grizzly Hills, Borean Tundra, and Howling Fjord. Named for bones of perished dragons and majestic shrines to the fallen creatures, Dragonblight is an arctic wasteland surrounded by dense forests.

Not everything is frozen in Northrend. The lush mountains of Grizzly Hills are the ancestral home to the furbolgs, who have grown accustomed to relative peace. Although their tranquility is being challenged by trappers, goblins, and ice trolls, Grizzly Hills remains a vast and dangerous wilderness.

The southwestern tip of Northrend is home to the sprawling Borean Tundra. The Horde has established a dominant presence in this icy portion of the continent and has formed a bond with the tuskarr, a walrus-like race of nomadic fisherman. Magical energy is afoot in the region, and it has caused increased tension.

High above the Great Sea at the southeastern tip of Northrend lies the Howling Fjord. Ancient mythology holds that a race of half-giant warriors, the vrykul, once inhabited the land, founding a prosperous civilization. They mysteriously vanished, leaving deserted villages and abandoned temples. In present times, the Alliance and the Horde have come to Howling Fjord to confront the Lich King. Strangely, this has prompted the return of the vrykul, who are attacking the Alliance and Horde settlements. Howling Fjord presents a difficult challenge on two fronts: withstanding the vrykul’s onslaught and battling the evil Lich King.

A Multitude of Monsters
Strange and terrifying creatures inhabit the frozen continent of Northrend, such as Nerubian Viziniers, Plague Eruptors, Shoveltusks and Flesh Giants, to name just a few. Half-spider, half-humanoid, the viziniers utilize sorcery and high intelligence to emerge as the rulers of Nerubians’ underground kingdom. The Plague Eruptors are walking corpses created by the Lich King’s evil experiments to spread horror and chaos across the living world.

Massive curved antlers make it easy to identify the Shoveltusks. These grumpy beasts are very dangerous, territorial, and best left alone. The Flesh Giants are nothing short of nightmarish abominations. Cobbled together from the pieces of giant body parts, the Flesh Giants employ tremendous strength to carry out the Lich King’s wishes.

The World of Warcraft: Wrath of King Lich expansion pack allows you to engage in epic siege warfare. The pack presents the first Hero class and allows you to transform your Death Knight’s look with character customization that even include hairstyles and dances. You’ll enjoy exploring the Northrend and all its environments and dungeons, filled with some of the deadliest creatures — and greatest treasures — on all of Azeroth.

5 Stars Great Expansion
I love this expansion! It has added so much more depth and more fun elements to this game. I (like many people I’ve talked to) were getting really sick of the Burning Crusade. I actually almost quit playing but held on with hope that Wrath of the Lich King would deliver. All that gear grabbing and trying to get into raids wore very thin. Thankfully Wrath was everthing I needed to jump start my passion for this game. I’m glad that Blizzard made this more of a questing game again and added a lot more story to the quests. A must buy for all.

4 Stars Wrath of Lich King……FINALLY
Like most obssessed WoW’ers I waited and waited for the new expansion to finally hit the shelves. I plotted my midnight run, took time off to install and try to level, and planned on all the new goodies I was going to get for my char. With the new content and so much to see you hardly have time to level before you’re looking at new raids and instances to get up to epic mode again. With any expansion pack there are the good points and the bad. The new content can become a grind to level up, and the new raids are for serious raiders only. Casuals can usually find a good PUG, but if you’re not seriously geared, you’ll have a long time before you’ll find anyone to help out. Also there are the “cons” of the new content. Most of the classes have been nerfed beyond recognition, and if you’re playing a Warlock, you’ll want to immediately start a new char until they get the class repaired. The Death Knight is a nice new hybrid, but with everyone building one, the servers are DK heavy and actual class light. Healers have become almost non existant, so choose wisely Luke (LOL). You’ll want something you can smash through almost all content alone with and be able to pick up some decent trash gear so you can get that coveted invite to a PUG for heroics and raids. There you’ll find the best gear, if you can get an invite. Then you have to deal with master looters, and greedy ninjas. With new professions added and new recipies for all profs, you’ll never run out of things to do. My personal favorite is the new Wintersgrasp BG. Even the casual Pvp’er can get some choice items after only a few battles. Since it’s such a popular event, joining a group for WG is pretty easy, making the points pile up. In fact with only one battle I was topping 2K xp for new armor. The regular arenas and battlegrounds are again under construction, but I have faith that the Blizzard elves are working hard to get it back to where it was. Of course, there’s the constant whine on the forums, but isn’t that why we love the game??

3 Stars Long Time Fan, Let Down
I’ve been playing WoW since the beginning, and so it pains me to have to say that I feel this expansion either isn’t finished, or that Bliz has gotten sloppy.

What’s wrong:

1. They’ve created massive buildings in many of the towns, and if you go upstairs or look around, there’s literally nothing in half of them. They’re totally empty. No chairs, no couches, no fires, no nothing. Floors, walls, and stairs, that’s it. It makes the world feel so much less alive. In one town in particular they made huge buildings, and it’s like they forgot to put things in them. I sent upstairs in one and there was literally about four giant floors to this building and outside of the first floor there was nothing on any of the other floors. Not an NPC, not a chair, not a fire, not a picture. Nothing.

2. In Burning Crusade I was changing out lvl 60 purples for new lvl 61 greens. Meaning, my rare gear was being made worthless by common items at lvl 61. That bugged me, but what bugs me more is that from level 70 to level 79 I had only replaced 2 pieces of my level 70 epic items. They went from one extreme to the next, and going through a long leveling process without the fun of upgrading gear made the game a lot less fun for me. I hit level 80 and upgraded all of my gear with auction house rare items, and finally got that upgrade, but it was pretty much one big upgrade, and not a process. Again, not fun. Next time, hopefully the split the difference between BC and LK.

3. No recipes to search for and buy in the world. It seems they did away with having rare recipes be given by various NPC’s in the environment. Everything is trainable now, and the reasons for checking all of the NPC’s are gone. If you need to sell something or get a repair, it’s your only reason to talk to an NPC merchant. This relates again to point one, the world feels dead. Those little hidden items that only certain merchants would sell added something to the game that made it seem a bit more alive and interesting. No longer could I go into a town excited to see what I might find for sale there, because there’s nothing to find of interest anymore.

So those may seem like minor gripes to some, but it made the entire leveling process, which is long, a boring chore.

5 Stars WOW! need I say more
This is a very addicting game. From roleplaying to doing quests and learning professions. You can play in groups or solo. This is a great game I really like the graphics and in general it’s a clean fun game to play. Although blizzard could be more original with some of the buildings it’s fun to play.

3 Stars For better or worse, its WoW with a new difficulty curve
For the most part, this is by far the best incarnation of WoW yet. Northrend is joy to quest in since it looks nice, has excellent lore (at least for the alliance) that involves you like never before, and a new class that is really fun to play. However, after awhile the novelty of all this new stuff wears off and you’re left with the end game content to keep you playing. As someone who can’t raid, I was really looking forward to getting to run the new heroics and things. However, Blizzard’s new philosophy on the “difficulty scaling” of the game has pretty much completely changed the way end game content runs. After less than a month of playing, my friends and I were tearing through the heroics like nothing. Its hard to get psyched for new gear when you can already dominate in what you have. Heroics in TBC were basically hard as heck raids for 5 people, and I miss that. Heroics aren’t the only casualty to the new system: I’ve never seen so many people with the best gear in the game before just running around. My friends that do raid have nothing left to do, and are now just epicly gearing out all their alts. That situation will be fixed with patches, but it stinks to have to just wait for everything. This is basically the first time playing the game I (and my friends) were left with nothing to do except level alts. I can’t really comment on the pvp state of the game since that’s not my thing (bg’s are the most frustrating thing ever… especially on Alliance).

In summary, exploring the new world for the first time is fun, but that’s about it. If you can’t raid and aren’t obsessed with pvp, find an alt you love or be prepared for boredom.

Norton SystemWorks 2008 Standard Edition 11 0

Keeps your computer operating smoothly and protects it from online threats / Anti Virus / Anti Spyware / Comprehensive backup tools

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars nortons systemworks
Always have trusted products from this company. Have had great price from Amazon.com on this product. Will be back in the future to shop again because this is a good trusted site with better than average prices. Price was even better than Symantec online version for download.

1 Star lousy customer support
I’ve had to reformat my computer several times and each time I either get Norton Go Back to work, or the other diagnostics, but not both at the same time. A technician tried to help me online, but was unable. He told me someone would contact me the next day to resolve. That was months ago. It is still unresolved.

Norton does not seem to care about ensuring that its products work properly and this is one of the reasons I may be switching to a Mac for my next computer.

1 Star I received this product with not matching code.
I have been trying to install this product and the installation key in the envelope is not match the software. I’m wondering if the cd it was in the wrong box or was mess by the vendor.

3 Stars For 1 PC only?
I have 2 computers and I assume it will only work on one since you must use the code numbers to install. My old Norton was not like that.

4 Stars Simple, if long, set-up
I bought this to replace a 2006 version of SystemWorks, which was a cheaper approach than renewing the license. The set-up took a little while (maybe 20 minutes) and required a few restarts, but really nothing I wasn’t expecting.

One thing I want to stress is that I did NOT have to remove the old version. I have no idea why this wasn’t required for me, as so many other people seemed to have to do an uninstall first.

The separate install for the Virus Protection was a little strange (why wouldn’t I want it installed?) but, again, no issues with the process.

It’s running now and seems fine. No performance hit or anything like that. All in all, it seems good.

1 Star Roxio creator 9
Un-usable. this product was mis-represented as an “old version”, what I was sent was version 9.1XE which is an oem version with limited capabilities(my computer already came with a more usable oem). I hope Amazon and discount_software_4u will show more integrity in the future.

4 Stars Good enough
Cannot put it on two/three computers, needs activation to run.. Probably have to buy another license from Roxio or buy another copy for $40…. Works with Vista Ultimate/xp64! Make sure ur copy is new and/or unregistered!

1 Star Stay away from Roxio
After buying this, it installed a lot of programs that I didn’t want. When I tried to selectively install what I did want, none of the programs would work. So I had to do a full install. Video editing would lock up every 10 or 20 minutes, which was usable I just saved often. Then it started locking up every minute which wasn’t enough time to get anything done. On their customer forums, every problems seems to be answered with “uninstall and do a clean reinstall.” I had done that twice already so I gave up and uninstalled it to move on to something new. Now it has broken my codecs and won’t play any video without asking for a file that I can’t find. This software is nothing but a huge hassle and waste of money. Instead of making patches they just start selling suite 10 which is probably just as bad.

2 Stars Bloated and buggy
I have tried to use this product (running on Windows XP Professional) for several months now and am not pleased. Problems encountered: (1) slow to load. each component seems to be a separate application that takes unreasonably long to load when activated. (2) Unstable. often encounters problems and shuts down, loosing work accomplished. (3) Won’t recognize blank Memorex DVD+R DL disks. Recommend looking for a better alternative.

5 Stars Low Tech Solution
This purchase solved my problem with a much older version of CD creator which offered no support for my latest hardware purchases. But now an even more current version is also available at reasonable cost.

I’m happy.

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star CorelX4
I have made several attempts to contact Corel and they simply have refused to follow up on my requests for assistance. I bought the product new on Amazon and the serial key will not work. I sent the sales receipt, pic of the serial key, etc. and they still have not responded back.

5 Stars CorelDraw Graphics Suite x4 Education Edition
CorelDraw has moved forward with new tools and effects that are efficient and necessary for designing images for many needs. By offering educational pricing, this product is readily affordable.

5 Stars CorelDRAW for Vista
I got a new computer running Vista and needed to replace all my software. I had an older version of CorelDRAW and many features would not load properly on Vista. The new graphics suite works fine and Amazon got me the software adhead of their promised date. All is well, again.

5 Stars A Great Program
I have been using CorelDraw7 for many years - mostly self taught. Received a new computer for Christmas and updated to CorelDraw X4. The new features are very easy to get used to and the Users Guide on the DVD is a great asset. However, being considerably older than most users I would have preferred a printed manual. I did buy a copy of “CorelDraw X4 - The Official Guide” by Gary Bouton to supplement the DVD version and find I am using it almost exclusively. It’s a great book.

My hobby is woodworking so this is an ideal program for design and assembly drawings. I realise I’m not nearly utilizing the full capabilities of this program but I am completely satisfied and would highly reccommend it to anyone. I also own a copy of another highly rated draw program but prefer CoreDraw X4 hands down.

5 Stars corel draw
I am looking forward to learning how to do all the program has to offer.

User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Are fake reviews more effective than a good product?
The people at WebPlus are very dedicated to their fake review program. Obviously they have at least one full time person whose job it is to go on sites and post fake reviews. My theory is that they figure someone who buys this software is not smart enough to realize that almost every 5 star review on this site is fake.

If you have a few minutes to spare, take a moment to read through these reviews. The person writing them did not even take the time to add some details that might make them sound genuine. Well, they do add a couple fake negatives, humbly suggesting that the only thing wrong with the software is this: It is so awesome and perfect that you sometimes can’t get anything done - all you want to do is sit there and think about how perfect it is.

If you are bored, you can try and figure out how many of the reviews were written on the same day, or how many reviewers have only one review. Oh - some reviewers have multiple reviews… but, oddly, their only other reviews are for products by the same company. And guess what? The company’s other products are flawless as well.Shocking!

I have never posted a review on Amazon. I shouldn’t even have taken the time to write it, but I know many or us sometimes feel like saying “enough is enough”.

I don’t know whether the software is good. It might be.

None of will know whether it really is good unless we buy it.

But - we ALL know that the company that made it engages in a deceitful and ugly business practice. Of course, this is not just a simple lack of integrity, it also ruins the impact of reviews that are thoughtfully submitted by real people. I used to get a lot out of Amazon reviews - its too bad that is now just a marketing game for dishonest people.

5 Stars Great Product!
Serif’s WebPlus X2 is one of the best web design products I’ve used. Great for first timers and a lot of options.

2 Stars I have to re-learn everything now.
All I wanted was something to replace FrontPage. This product is not it. It doesn’t work directly with html pages. Worse, it will not even correctly import html pages that use tables. Tables are the foundation of my web pages, and this program will not work with them! So, I guess I have to re-learn web design or find another product that will do what I want.

4 Stars Great for beginners!
Highlight a picture and a tool bar pops-up, if you choose to change picture file the effect given in the template with automatically be on your new picture so you don’t have to mess with other programs for a given effect like photoshop, etc.

Easy to use!

5 Stars Great for first time web designers!
As I first time web site designer I was hesitant to buy any of the programs I found. The price for this one was so fantastic, I decided to take a chance, and it sure paid off. I found that the templates were a bit boring, and created my site from scratch. Much of the program is self explanatory, learn as you go, and if I got stuck the manual, while not easy to read gets you going in the right direction. I definately reccomend this program, and am thrilled to have purchased it!

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star Total waste of $10.00
I thought I was getting a super bargain on some older software. No. Whatever company is making this has just taken the brand name. I was looking forward to replacing a program I had used in the past. This was completely different. The menus and tools don’t make any sense. I can’t drag walls to where I want them to be; everything ends up with crazy angles. Cheap software made for a quick buck. No effort of any kind went into making this product. I’m just going to throw it away. Would not burden anone with such a useless “gift”.

4 Stars Christmas Gift
Amazon gave fast service. Arrived at my home within a few days. Gave this to my son as a Christmas gift and he is really enjoying it.

5 Stars Excellent Service
Was extremely happy with the service from this supplier. Goods arrived in Australia very quickly and in excellent condition. Would not hesitate in using them again.

1 Star 3D Home Architect Home & Landscape Deluxe Suite Version 9
Where’s the manual???? A manual is not included with this software. The help files are not helpful either. I don’t even know where to begin. I’m very disappointed.

4 Stars Great Product
I got this for my dad for Christmas and he has had a great time creating ideas for his next home.
