Logitech G11 Gaming Keyboard Black Silver

The Logitech G11 gaming keyboard features blue-backlit characters, 18 programmable G keys, and convenient media control buttons so you can play all night long. Create custom macros for your games and access them with a single keystroke. Reduce clutter by routing cables through the convenient under-keyboard channels. Swap gaming controls easily by plugging into the two full-speed USB ports. And never worry about getting dropped out of the action if you press the Windows key; the built-in Gaming Mode switch disables it with one touch.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Best in class
I bought this keyboard as a gift for my son, who is a gamer, and extremely picky about his keyboard and mouse. He had already purchased a different lighted keyboard, but decided he preferred this one (by far) after using one at a friend’s house. His favorite feature was the additional keys for macros and his only complaint was the lack of color options for the backlight.

5 Stars Great keyboard
altough wide, my keyboard drawer has enough room on it + for my mouse pad too. my only gripe is that it doesnt have email/document/SLEEP buttons. eh, ol well. love the way the keys feel when typing too.

5 Stars It’s all about the “G” keys.
I play a lot of Warcraft and got tired of some of the repetitive key/button sequences. Like mounting and unmounting. Sure, I could attach a macro to a numeric key, but there’s only one row of them and all six sets of bindings are used. Now I have more. More is better.

I don’t really care about the lighted keys, but I absolutely love the 18 G keys. Oh yeah, I had to get a CyberPower High-Speed 7-Port USB Hub to power the thing. My computer sits a fair distance away so the noise doesn’t bother me and the G11 has too short of a USB cord.

5 Stars Logitech’s keyboard a WOW delight
In spite of being geeky enough to covet every piece of electronics known to mankind, I am still simple enough to actually want my installs to be easy. Installing this keyboard was a no-brainer. Its glowy blue keys are beautiful in the dark; which improves my game’s graphics experience. And it has 18 programmable keys on its left side, which can be pre-set up for macros and keystrokes on up to 3 different games. The keys all have a nice “feel” to them. I really LOVE this product.

2 Stars Nice until it broke
The good points of this product have been touched on in other reviews. I will not rehash them here.

I owned this keyboard for approximately 3 months. It operated well, although I did have problems with the amount of desk real estate it required - it is a large keyboard. This is a minor issue, however. The main problem I had is that one day the number keys refused to work. It isn’t a software issue, as I’ve tried it on other computers with no success. I’ve owned other Logitech products and they are nice until they break after a few months. I’ve bought 2 headsets, this keyboard, and a mouse that periodically glitches on me from Logitech. With the shoddy performance I have experienced I can’t recommend their products to anyone.

4 Stars Much needed expansion for largely ignored rooms
The Sims games have often basically ignored the bathrooms and kitchens. In the basic “Sims 2″ game there are, if I remember right, about five different ovens, three fridges and about three toilets. Only two kinds of showers. This does not lend itself well to customization.

Thankfully this pack corrects those flaws, finally enabling your Sims to feel like they live in a Kolher commercial (though slightly less pretentiously). Lots of new fixtures and appliances, as well as plenty of decorative gewgaws to make even the most jaded Sim happy!

Buy this pack and soon your Sims will have the kitchen and bathroom of their dreams! Now if only we can get something to provide a decent basement…

5 Stars Great Additions to Sims
I love the Sims already and these additions were easy to install and run perfectly. I really enjoy them.

4 Stars Still Overpriced……
I love the expansion packs for the sims, but it seems to me they are just stealing from me every time I buy one. I looked around for used versions of stuff packs, and all of them with shipping come out to more then I would pay for a new one. Considering that Sims 3 is coming out next year, I wish the expansion packs would go down in price. Stuff packs should be $10 and other around $20-$25 each. I know once Sims 3 comes out, all the Sims 2 expansion packs will be grouped into 1 and sold for a lot less then what we all originally paid for them.

Just wish I was more patient, I would wait for them to go down.

I guess they have good business instincts =/

3 Stars Nice but not a must have stuff pack.
I liked this Stuff pack because I wanted extra options for decorating my Sim kitchens and bathrooms. However, it adds no new game play and many people have complained that it’s one of the glitchiest Stuff Packs they’ve put out. Pretty much all it comes with is new bathroom and kitchen fixtures, a few new wallpapers and floors, a few adult hairstyles and a little bit of clothing. If you’re looking for more you’ll be disppointed. It’s a decent stuff pack but not a must have addition to the Sims 2.

4 Stars Kitchen & Bath…
The stuff packs always have exciting new items to help upgrade and diversify.

The new pjs, bathrobes, etc were a nice touch. The bathroom fixtures are more realistic to what I’ve actually seen around. Plus, it’s nice being able to create different looks for each Sim family. I really liked the new items available for the kitchen.

Not a disappointing stuff pack.

5 Stars Krait is Great!
I bought BOTH the Krait and the Deathadder and have used both for several weeks. I like the Krait better because it is lighter, smaller, easier to use with your fingertips (instead of resting your whole hand as on the Deathadder), and the mouse buttons are quicker and easier to click. Krait is a bit of a narrow mouse but is easy to adapt to. Some may like the “full-bodied” feel of the Deathadder which I can appreciate, as well. Love the super-high responsiveness of both mice and fast tracking that never faults. You cannot go wrong with either of these top-end mice.

5 Stars Amazing
Best mouse I’ve ever used. If you play RTS than this is the mouse for you, if you’re an FPS fan you should obviously pick up the IME 3.0 or Death Adder.

Side buttons might be nice to bind inventory items to in Wc3, but I’m so used to the numpad, it doesn’t matter much anymore.

5 Stars Amazing mouse
I bought this mouse for my girlfriend for Christmas. I have a Razor Copperhead mouse that she loved to use. The only problem with that was the Copperhead is a larger mouse which works great for me but she has small hands so it was too big for her to be comfortable. After doing some research on the other Razor mice I found the Krait. The measurements were listed on their website and low and behold it was a smaller mouse. The price on Amazon was cheaper than their site and the shipping was very fast. The mouse is excellent. It is very responsive and glides oh so smoothly on a laser mouse pad. If you have smaller hands and still want a great gaming mouse I highly suggest this mouse.

5 Stars Razer Kicks ACE!!!!!
I have the Copperhead and this one I bought for my son, we are both gamers World of Warcraft to name a few. This mouse blew him away! Better than his old wireless!

4 Stars great mouse, but needs more buttons
overall great mouse. all the good features of a razor but in a slightly more compact design. for those looking for a size comparison to, say, the copperhead, its about 20-25% smaller. i would not call this mouse a laptop mouse, its still fair size.

i would have also liked at least 1 more button on it. perhaps the thumb buttons. they market this mouse as an “rpg mouse” or whatever. I play wow and I ues 5 mouse buttons on my copperhead consistantly so I could not use this mouse for gaming in wow and probably most first person shooters for sure. the buttons that are on it work great, never any accidental double clicks or phantom clicks like the crappy fatality mouse by creative labs. nothing like that peice of junk at all.

otherwise the mouse glides really nice, nicer than the copperhead with really great teflon (or whatever the heck it is) feet. i use it at work and it is a great mouse, never skips or jumps, instant response from idle, etc.

fantastic quality mouse for the low price it has.
